Absolutely fantastic experience. We ate at Kobe Beef Wagyu Katana Asakusa No. 2 Branch and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. Miwa was our chef, and she was incredible—not just with the cooking, but with making the whole experience feel personal. She was friendly, funny, and genuinely enjoyed talking with us throughout the meal. We ordered the A5 Kobe Nero, and watching it prepared right in front of us was part of the fun. The fire show was impressive, but the steak itself completely stole the show. I’ve had a lot of great steaks over the years, and this was honestly the best steak I’ve ever eaten. The flavor, tenderness, and richness were on another level. What really stood out was how welcoming they were to our family. We were dining with our 1-year-old daughter, and the staff absolutely adored her. They even prepared a portion specifically for her, which was such a thoughtful touch and made us feel genuinely welcome. Another memorable detail was receiving Kobe Beef certification cards with our names written in Japanese—a small gesture, but something we’ll keep as a souvenir from an amazing meal. If you’re visiting Asakusa and want a memorable Kobe beef experience, I can’t recommend this place enough.
